(a) Whether the department is supplying various accessories which are operated from the Non-Conventional Energy sources to the beneficiaries?	Â	(a) Yes, Sir, Non-Conventional Energy devices, equipments and plants are being distributed to the beneficiaries. Â
(b) The criteria on which the beneficiaries are selected? Â	Â	(b)
A. Individual System (i) For individual lighting system/devices, those beneficiaries, who reside in the un-electrified villages, and willing to contribute the beneficiary contribution. (ii) For individual Energy Saving devices, these are distributed to all types of beneficiaries, and in case of Biogas Plant, they should have 5-6 Nos. of cattle and buffalo, and also willing to contribute the beneficiary contribution. B. Community System (i) For Power Plant for lighting purpose, the village should be remote and un-electrified and are more than 4 kms away from the nearest existing grid. (ii) For Solar Water Pump the beneficiary should have an adequate source and required head, and it is meant either for drinking water purpose or for irrigation purpose.
(c) Whether proper advertisements are made so as to popularise the scope of these benefits to the general public specially in the rural areas?	Â	(c) Yes, Sir, through : Â
Â	Â	(i) Integrated Rural Energy Block Offices in 13 Blocks in the State.
Â	Â	(ii) Brochures and pamphlets distributed every year. Â
Â	Â	(iii) Organising of Women training Programmes in rural areas.
Â	Â	(iv) Advertisement and Publicity published in local dailies, or through B.D.O. Offices.
